Our model

Co-housing model

Co-housing Co-operatives will be an essential emerging accommodation option for Australia as housing becomes increasingly unaffordable.

The Blue Gum Housing committee wants to create a successful model of housing and share the blueprint with the communities of Tasmania.

Our best response to the housing crisis is to help people move into long term stable accommodation, to offer support, inclusiveness and choices.

This option will provide mental health relief to those priced out of the market and experiencing insecurity from a lack of stable housing.

It also provides critical accommodation options to people in vulnerable communities. Please apply if you would like to be a part of this way of living.
