Blue Gum Housing Co-operative is a newly formed not-for-profit Housing group that was registered in Tasmania in September 2021. Our aim is to raise money to buy land and build houses in a sustainable way for people in need of affordable accommodation in Tasmania. Blue Gum is inspired by the successful Danish Co-housing model. Mainland Australia, America and Europe are also building these models because of their success.
